A movie with subtle greatness

'Hangin' With the Homeboys' is a bit dated. Very, very early 90s, and is by no means a perfect film, I really believe that this is a very, very good film. In my opinion, it has some subtle greatness. Some of the conversations are excellent. I would love to see this movie re-made from a 21st century point-of-view.

Hangin' with the Homeboys was filmed before Rudy Giuliani became mayor and kicked off Stop And Frisk in 1994. I'm guessing the fellas would be hassled by the cops a lot more.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.
