Better than the second one?

OK, so looking at a few topics on this board, I've seen a few people saying that this movie is better than the second one (I saw a few, but it could've been the same person).

Anyway, I feel that is weird as to me and several other people I've heard from the second one is better. Better fight scenes, better story, better tone, better Guyver suit, etc.

So, I'm curious. To the people who feel this movie is better than the sequel. Why?

Don't you want to become one with me? To be of one mind and body?

No. Guyver 2 is the better film.

It had a higher budget than the sequel and wasn't as dull.

Guyver 2 is better. Never cared for the first film very much.

The budget on this was certainly better however the mere fact that they try to market this to children and dumb down what the Guyver was is an travesty.

This movie was corny but Guyver dark hero was boring. So you don't misunderstand me, what I mean is the action scenes in Guyver dark hero was spectacular compared to the first movie but between those action scenes was a slow Dolls boring movie.

This movie is just entertaining and I liked the Los Angeles setting.
