How to tell difference btw PG13 + R-Rated?

My friend downloaded a copy of this movie.

He doesnt know if its from the DVD or from the original VHS rip.... is there any footage he/we should look for at a particular timeline that will identify if its the R-Rated version?

Yes its a DOWNLOAD. We dont wanna waste cash on the PG13 DVD version... thus the hunt for a VHS rip. (Yes we already checked the local video shops for a VHS)

Scene with muggers

In uncut version there's some mockery included: "Wow! It's kung-fu man!! Check it out, it's kung-fu man lololo" This scene was cut. and when they beat the s@$t out of that guy, painful transformation into guyver was cut too.. and all blood and gore was cut or watered down.. dvd version sucked, period.
