Not being a big fan of DiNero myself, I really liked him in this. Pacino would have been good as he always is, but diNero really suited his role.

Maybe, but this character is soft, softer than Pacino's characters usually are. De Niro is more common man here than in any of his other movies. And his hair looks different.

I don't about Pacino but De Niro was brilliant in it.He nailed the caracter perfectly.

I liked De Niro´s work, but i would like too have seen Pacino in that role.

De Niro is excellent here , I just rewatched , he nailed it , thats it .

I think Pacino would have rocked playing one of the HUAC guys at the end. This movie had a good ending, but imagine DeNiro and Pacino squaring off against each other for the final 15 minutes.
