This movie is really kind of a mixed bag.

Liked:
- The plot to replace Godzilla with King Ghidorah
- The battles between Godzilla and King Ghidorah
- The storyline with Shindo
- Mecha-King Ghidorah

Disliked:
- The film giving away the outcome of the first fight before the film even started (Mercifully, I'd missed that segment the first time I'd seen it)
- The plotholes created by the time travel angle
- Ghidorah's origin changed from being a creature from outer space to being three bat-like creatures fused together on earth
- The portrayal of the US soldiers
- The nationlistic portrayal of Japan as future world super power and America's attempts to stop it from happening

First of all im supised you didn't menton that embarrasing android....which his rip-odd of Terminator and the 6 Million Dollar Man.....that one thing that really made me cringe......but I've gotta poke some holes in your diliked....first of all it shows US soldiers talking about their families and what not....it seem they were being mearly being depicted as being on the opposion side and in that particular battle they were on the offencive....second it's not so much America trying to stop Japan but the the united counties as they all now opperate as one except for Japan.....and the reason they have such a problem with thim was the way there were wasting the planet way with Nuclear energy....which goes back to the original which says that anything nuclear is bad....a theme revisited once more in Godzilla vs Destoroyah. However the whole united country thing beings up another plot hole in that fact you'd think that all the other countries in the world united would be more powerful then Japan....bah....the script is very flawed

That, it is. I'd forgotten to mention the android. I don't why that didn't make the list. M11 definitely belongs there.

One of the best G films ever imo.

This wasn't my first Godzilla flick by any stretch of the imagination, so when I got to it, I was used to the silly plots. If you watch it for the plots, you're weird. Don't get me wrong, the stories are interesting and adds to the movie quite a bit, but the movies are meant to be watched for their kaiju scenes. Well...the first one was meant to be a metaphor, but the newer ones are meant to be mindless entertainment.

With that in mind, the only thing that truly bothered me was the dorats and the weird noise they make, but all that okay since they become one of Godzilla's coolest enemies.

And I think this is Godzilla's second best Heisei era movie. Second to Godzilla vs. Destoroyah. (I also really like Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla 2.)

Ryan Reynold is The Merc with the Mouth.

I support Team Buffy.

I have to say this was one of the few Godzilla Movies I haven't seen. So on a whim I decided to watch it and have fun. It may not have been the best but once I gave up trying to figure out what was going on I ended up enjoying it.

There is more Gravy about you then the Grave. Scrooge.
