One of Godzilla's most awesome appearance's ever

When Godzilla finally shows up, it is, in my opinion, one of the greatest appearances of all time. First of all, the way he rises out of the sea seems to say that Godzilla is an effect of meddling with nature, and he is there to stay, and no mere time tomfoolery will get rid of him, as he is part of the fabric of time. But it's not just that, the way Godzilla stomps on to shore, roaring menacingly, terrorising a herd of cows, with the great Akira Ifikube music playing, it just creates a legendary movie monster moment. Reply if you agree.

Was this the one where a harp briefly played when Godzilla emerged from the ocean? Yeah that was great.

I've always thought the harp was a nice touch. To me it makes it seem like this is the Godzilla that used to defend humanity against monsters for a brief moment but this turns out not to be the case as we all know.

There were a few scenes in this film I thought were outstanding. Two that stick out for me when Godzilla and The Japanese General are face to face toward the end and the camera goes back and forth between the two. Loved the emotion you could feel right before Godzilla does his thing.

Then the next was when Godzilla and King Mecaghedora are fighting and Mecaghedora picks up Godzilla and starts to fly off with him and Godzilla gets the upper hand and they both tumble to the sea. The Camera work was impressive right down to the Shadow they cast on the water.

Not the best Godzilla movie ever but It does rate in my top ten.

There is more Gravy about you then the Grave. Scrooge.
