What's it really worth???

Well, I really loved this movie. A wonderful story about courageous women - tough, humorous, antirasssistic, sweet lesbian love-story. Those who want might pretend that Idgy and Ruth are just friends but its rather obvious - the way they are playing family... That's what I hate. It is all so clean, so aligned. Thinking it over I don't know if its worth 7 stars.

Saw "Antonia's Line" again. Its all about love and respect and a different, rebellious concept of living. Antonia is heterosexual but she rejects playing familily. She is living in a comunity of respect. Here is everything that lacks "Fried Green Tomatoes".

I think your list of what is in this movie is incomplete--it is also a compelling mystery, a story of compassion, and a study of women's strength.
