Whatched this movie AGAIN last night and I just don't get the fact why Michelle Pfeiffer was NOT nominated for an Oscar for this movie.
Her portrayal of Frankie is so real. The confession scene only is Oscar worthy.
I also just don't get why she never even got an Oscar. So many less talented actresses have gotten one (I name a Julia Roberts for example)...

I partially agree ( couse I don`t really know which women that was nominated that year ), though I guess it might have been because it is a romantic comedy drama, at least thats how I feel about.

Nothing to say on her performance though, its my favorite role by her from what I have seen.
