Saxes in band played wrong

In the opening scene in the hanger in England, the alto saxes are being played wrong. Alto saxes are played to the front and all of the saxes are being played to the right side. This would only happen for beginning children who aren't big enough or on tenor and bari saxes.

Actually... the alto sax can be played either way. Usually adults play them to the front because they can. I played saxophone... I know.

LOL, there is no right way to hold the sax, I played as well, it's a matter of preference and in the big band era is was typical to have the sax held to the side.
