I must admit, I'm really not too sure about the pg15 rating this movie got. Most of it is fine, but the scene where Parry looks back to what happened that night at the restaurant is pretty gruesome, even for me (American Psycho is my favourite movie). I think seeing a woman's head getting splattered all over Robin Williams is worth enough of an 18 rating in itself
shareI watched this masterpiece last night and I've got to agree with you, this movie is gruesome enough to warrant a higher rating, based on that scene you mention. It's hardcore. Her brains splatter across Percy's face, it's a shocking image and it calls for a restricted rating.
shareIt's very brief, and not exactly unexpected. It is certainly more violent and horrific than most 15 movies, but an 18 for that one second would be very harsh.
