I'm not sure how anyone else feels about this but I honestly believe that as good as Williams was in this Bridges was arguably superior. It was his best role and one that should have been not only an Oscar nom but in serious talks about winning it. Just my opinion.
No doubt. Just got the criterion and thought the same thing. Bridges looks so cool in this film too.
sharei like apples and oranges, but man, mr. bridges nailed this one. in every actors career if their lucky a handful of roles come along that they put on like a glove. this was a glove fit for mr. bridges. a glove man.
