Pun not intended. It seemed sensual at many turns, convincingly so. Sam Neill did all right with the material given, as did Assante but the script might have been stronger in the second half of the film.

I'd say it's disappointingly lukewarm, but I didn't dislike it. Sam Neill, Armande Assante and the rest of the credible cast do a fine job considering how little they had to work with.
