Hmmm...interesting. R u sure he didn't just do the voiceovers? I looked through the credits again and did not find the name William or Bill McNamara. Also, isn't he like 43 now? F/X2 was made back in 91' and the guy playing that hitman character looks well over 40 in that picture. This is really confusing 'cause the credits did not have a name for that character nor was a character name mentioned in the film for him. I think Rollie Tyler (Bryan Brown) refers to him as the "Thug" or something, but that wasn't even in the credits. At first glance your dad looks kind of like this guy, but I'm not yet convinced it's really him. William McNamara also seems to have quite a "well-known" career and I don't think anyone with that much popularity could be in a film like this and not have his name mentioned. F/X2 is not even listed on his resume. This character I'm talking about (if you've seen the film) is the guy who slices the throat of the Police officer "Mike Brandon" in the movie (the kid's dad). He is also seen in the scene where he is with a gun chasing Bryan Brown, Rachel Ticotin & Dominic Zamprogna around a supermarket in the mall. Then Bryan Brown gets this guy's head locked in one of those "whole-chicken" suran-wrap things and starts interogating him. This is the gray/white-haired Hitman I'm talking about.

Thanks for any help

Actually, his name is John Walsh (not to be confused with the host of America's Most Wanted). Don't know much about him other than all the stunt work he's done for movies, and that he was a high school classmate with my father in New Brunswick. That's all I know.

You got that right. I was so intrigued by him I came here to learn more about him as well and saw him listed as John Walsh. But the only John Walsh I could find when trying to research his name was the Walsh of "America's Most Wanted" and I know for a fact that's not the same guy. So they share the same name. That'll make things difficult for anyone trying to learn more about him.

That fight scene in the house is one of the best ever. The thug gives Rollie a pounding!!!. Bryan Brown made the character not too good with the fight skills, just the movie making skills.

Yeah. I couldn't believe how Rollie got his butt served to him in just about every fight sequence he was unfortunate to find himself.
