Shouldn't you be teaching the girls about their monthly?

OMG, that is so scary.I thought I was the only one who did that.

My sister actually got it, it was quite a good laugh. :D

reply

That's great, me and my friends say that all the time. Good to know were not the only ones.

reply

And here I was believing I was alone.

lol I've tried it but no one seems to get it

"I'm in pursuit of a black Trans Am. He's all mine, so STAY OUTTA THE WAY"

reply

Hell yes man. I drink Miak all the time. I put it on breakfast cereal. I have a glass of miak with dinner every night. And I even heard that Miak is a good source of calcium.

reply

I always say MIAK as opposed to milk. I thought I was the only one who did that. I also refer to myself as a master of HEDGE-CLIP KEDO, the secret oriental fighting art of japanese gardeners

reply

Weird. My girlfriend and I just discovered that we each think of that all the time. It's one of those weird things where you've been thinking it forever. "Fresh Bulgarian Miak" Then one day you say it and someone looks back at you and gives you that nod of recognition. It's a great feeling. Especially when it has to do with Ernest

reply

This movie really was probably the most influential in shaping modern culture, all thanks to MIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAK!

UM....BEST LINE EVER!

reply

"good old-fashioned MIAK"

reply

Hahaha. I call it miak all the time and my brother and sister laugh and my mom and dad think we are idiots.

Yeah it is wierd to know that there are a bunch of other weirdos out there like myself that refer to milk as miak...my girlfriend just rolls her eyes when I call it miak!

reply

I do it too from time to time. LOL!

Beware the MIAK!

reply

Yes, I also call it Miak, and I thought I was the only 1....

reply

I don't ever call it Miak but maybe I will start.

reply

This movie truly changed the english language forever! Up until a year ago I thought I was the only one that ever called Milk "Miak" because of this movie...

reply

You all should put together a MIAK Convention! It's been forever since I've watched this movie so I haven't gotten in the habbit of saying it but I wish I had! lmao

occasionally i do find my self thinking(and maybe saying aloud) "authentic Bulgarian Miak!", when im about to eat breakfast, or otherwise come in contact with milk, err miak....I watched this movie alot as a kid....myself and my brother and my dad are the only ones i know that get the joke...

reply

Absolutely. And, like most other posters on here, I thought I was alone. Just the other day I was explaining the line to my cousin, after I mentioned the Miak. I was six-years-old when this movie came out, and while even then I wasn't an Ernest fan, I always liked the Miak line.

By the way, is there anyone else who, seeing this movie when they were younger, thought the troll was much BIGGER before catching it again years later, only to realize how short it was. Maybe it just seemed bigger because, as a six-year-old, the idea of a troll who turns children into dolls is actually pretty scary.

"Well if you wanted to make Syrok the Preparer cry...mission accomplished."

reply

Me and my brother call it Miak and cackle like idiots every time. It is creepy to know there are so many of us... This movie actually scared me as a kid a little bit, but I always thought the crazy old lady with the rat's nest was hilarious.

reply

Yes, I do break out this reference every once in a while. The funny part is that someone always gets it.

Won't that be grand? Computers and the programs will start thinking and the people will stop.
