I know this movie was filmed in Tennessee but does anyone know the town/city where it was filmed?
shareI've had no luck finding the exact locations, but I want to know too, especially so I can Google Earth it to compare the differences from 1991 to now. I wonder if the narrow, dark country road where Ernest and the troll face off in the truck still looks like that. For all we know, that road in the middle of nowhere could be all gentrified and built up with suburban houses or shopping centers now!
shareI'm pretty sure the scene you're talking about was filmed on a set. The background looked pretty fake but I'm not 100%. Ive searched as deep as I could trying to find something! But no luck. It's seriously one of my top 10 movies of all time and a must watch every Halloween. If I could find just a few of the spots it'd be worth the trip to Tennessee. I've tried finding some contact info for John Cherry the director, but no luck. Hopefully one of these days somebody will come across this post and help us out. Long live the Great Redneck Hope
