Where was it filmed?

Does anyone know if the film wasctually made in the small town of San Salvatore in Italy? If not where is that villa they filmed the movie in?

According to the IMDb, the locations were Portofino, Genoa, and Liguria, Italy.

Castello Brown above Portofino's harbor. It is beautiful.

Remember the scene that the women were having a lunch (or an afternoon tea) in the garden? The castle on top of the Portofino port has a beautiful garden and I believe it was the setting for the outdoor luncheon/tea scene. The garden is perfectly situated and overlooking the town of Portfino. It is so enchanting.

Apparently Castello Brown is the actual villa the novel's author had in mind.
