Should I see This Film?

I have not yet seen this film and am wondering if i should or not. Can anyone help me by telling if its a good film to watch, and what it is about.
Thanks

Yes it is a good film, but if you like happy endings, you may not want to watch it. I would consider it a chick-flick. Julia Roberts plays Hilary O'Neil, a free-spirited young woman who needs a place to stay after catching her boyfriend in bed with another woman. She answers an newspaper ad to be a live-in caregiver to Victor, a wealthy young man who has leukemia and is undergoing chemo. Victor has been ill off and on for 10 years and has led a very isolated life. He falls in love with Hilary and persuades her to go on a vacation with him to a remote town. He claims to have finished his chemo treatments but this is not the case. Hilary, who is understadably wary of getting involved with anyone again, falls in love with Victor and they have several weeks of bliss until Victor's symptoms reccur. I won't tell you anymore, only that while no one dies at the end, the viewer is left with a feeling of doom. At least I was. It's the kind of movie that I watch while doing something else at the same time, if that makes any sense. I've seen it several times; the soundtrack is beautiful.

If you like a movie that pulls at all the heartstrings, that makes you laugh and cry.. then you need to see this movie.

This is one of my favourite movies of all time!

It's about a man in his late twenties that has cancer and hires Julia Roberts as his carer. The movie follows their growing friendship that later turns into love.

It's a sad movie, yet it's such an inspirational one. I've seen this movie a thousand times and still cry everytime I watch it. Campbell Scott is a brilliant actor and it goes without saying that anything with Julia Roberts is worth seeing!

It's one of those sweet, simple, feel-good movies that you want to snuggle up and watch on a cold Winter's night after a horrible day.

There are similarities between this movie and Pretty Woman, so if you love that then you should definitely see this.

I feel this movie was totally underrated. I think it's better than Pretty Woman personally!

The ending is not necessarily unhappy. The viewer gets to determine what happens. While the open-ended thing isn't generally appealing, in this case I would rather it be that way.
