Doesn't do the book ANY justice

They changed sooooo many crucial parts of the storyline in order to romanticize the movie. Granted, it was the 90s and if they had stuck to the storyline of the book, most of the audience wouldn't be able to stomache it.

But the book was so depressing and yet hauntingly beautiful. I especially loved the ending of the book, which they completely butchered in the movie.

Yeah, it was a good movie, but it could have been BETTER. So much better.




Sometimes there's so much beauty in the world I feel like I can't take it.
