First I would like to say that I absolutely loved this movie! I loved the concept of it and the air of magic that seemed to fill every scene with its gorgeous cinematography. Now I have looked myself a bit to find movies that have a similar aesthetic to this one and I can't seem to find any. What I'm looking for are any movies that have a similar sense of fantasy to this one like Amélie and Pan's Labyrinth in how they felt "magical" (even though Pan's Labyrinth is a little more fantasy then I am looking for). Sorry if I ramble but does anyone have suggestions?

As I was watching it I was reminded a lot of the French film Amelie. The color schemes are similar and the plots are somewhat similar. There's a fantasy element in both films as well.

Bergman's "Persona", Altman's "3 Women", Lynch's "Mulholland Dr", Tarkovsky's "Mirror".

The Fountain (2006) - visually interesting and 3 stories connected together like Veronique.

If you are looking story wise, its the opposite of Sliding Doors which is also based on Krzysztof Kieślowski's Blind Chance - I haven't watched it so can't tell but Sliding Door was good.

Just because you've got the emotional range of a teaspoon, doesn't mean we all have !

The Blue, Red, White trilogy of course
and occasionally it reminded me of Enemy (2013)
