Just watched Double Impact for the first time...

...and I really enjoyed it. Sure it was dumb in some places but that's what makes these 90s Action films so great.

Exactly. The more cheese the better.

Today it was released in theaters 25 years ago. I remember we rented it when I was about 5. Kick ass movie.

The 90's, big explosions pointless sex scenes and the most important thing...One liners.(forgot slow motion kicks and punches and crazy close ups)

Always loved this movie and remember seeing at the theater. The part where he drinks his shot then breaks the glass in his hands was *beep* awesome to my childhood self. Now I look at it and wonder how many hrs in the waiting room and how many stitches is he gonna need at the ER.

"I hear all kinds of *beep* everyday, pal. You want some advice..take your fancy clothes, and you black silk underwear and go back to Disneyland."

I graduated high school in June of 91 and I loved all the movies that came out that year. T2, Silence of the Lambs, Point Break, Sleeping with the Enemy, Robin Hood, Lionheart, The Doors, New Jack City, Boyz in the Hood, Out for Justice, Toy Soldiers, Backdraft, Regarding Henry, Star Trek VI, The Last Boyscout, Mobsters and Double Impact. I seriously loved that year. When ever I watch this it takes me back to such a great time in my life. This is one of Van Damme's best. I still have a promotional poster with Van Damme's signature on it.

This is one of the best Van Damme films and on top of that, I think probably one of the better films that have used Hong Kong as a filming location. I grew up in Hong Kong and was always so excited whenever this movie came on the TV.

I found it. It's Maximum Risk (1996).

I remember having seen another film with Van Damme, who had again a twin brother, but he was killed in America, if I am not mistaken. Do you know which film I am referring to pls?
