I think they should gave it another name.It was mainley about Sue Ellen working to support her siblings.

According to the trivia section, the filmmakers were suppose to call it "The real world" but changed it due to the TV series coming out around the same time. (But...if they told their mom the babysitter's dead, she would probably came back, i guess.)

And WHY is she working? Because the babysitter's dead and nobody can know about it, especially their mom.

I think it works, it's an attention grabber.
