What did eddie whisper to rose when they were in the bed together? I can never understand or hear what he's saying. Its bothered me for years, since I first saw it in the 90's. Almost like when you can't understand Bill Murray in Lost In Translation. Any ideas?

Does this mean they didn't have sex? Couldn't we just...I'm guessing cuddle/kiss?

In my opinion it's open to interpretation, and that's good.

I'm assuming he meant "couldn't we just have sex already?" That's my opinion though, and like CarlosPC said, it's open to interpretation.
