It is dead isn't it? Am surprised, great performance from Forest, I read somewhere he visited a real life hitman in jail to find out more about the role
shareI have to check it out, my english teacher wrote it!!!
shareI read somewhere that Forest went method and became a real-life hitman in order to find out more about the role. Can anyone confirm this?
shareIt is showing for FREE all month on THIS Network....
shareI thought the film was compelling. The scenes between the hitman & the young mother were unpredictable, frightening and a tour-de-force for both Fenn & Whittaker.
shareI did like it, it was so forest Whitaker. Maybe he is becoming type cast. He really should have went overseas and enhanced his career. I the target Sherilyn Fenn was good but her lines at some points were just to cheesy to believe. Then at the end it was typical cowardness with inter race as we always see with film makers no one really cares if they get together in fact the film has more meaning if they did It would have been more memorable. It seems as if some directors minds are stuck in the fifties where it is forbidding, not realizing sometimes these situations make the best love stories.
shareYEAH!! I THINK IT'S ACTUALLY A DECENT FILM
shareFor a couple reasons, I like Forest Whitaker's acting and I used to live in Pittsburgh.

i once went to a deli in pittsburgh & i'm watching it right now on the mgm hd channel.
Where there's smoke, there's barbecue!
It is currently playing on MGMHD in the US. Not sure how long the run will last.
Great noir/character film. The voice Forest employs in many scenes is haunting. Anyone who watched this movie when it was new must have seen the greatness coming.
I'm watching it now! :D
