Does this have any connection to 1 and 2? Delta Force 2 basically had one connection and that was Scott McCoy. Are any of the characters in 1 and 2 mentioned in 3? Did it feel like those two? Were any of the characters from this related to those in 1 or 2? Just curiousl. No one ever posts in this board so I take it the movie wasn't that great

I really enjoyed Delta Force 3. I went in with low expectations and probably got more out of it than a lot of people. The connection to the previous movies is the Delta Force itself. Presumably the next generation of men. Chuck Norris was originally returning for this one but he withdrew after a crew member died during part 2.
Not the same without Chuck Norris, but still a good movie all the same - definitely not what the ratings make it out to be - much better.
Lot of subtitling in it though so be prepared for a long read.
This one seemed to be inspired by Top Gun and Navy Seals. Guess they were going for a younger audience.
