When Rip Torn meets with Albert Brooks after he's missed the court date and Buck Henry filled in for him, they have a conversation that's similar to this:

"Where were You?"

"You wouldn't understand."

"I'm tired of being treated like a child here, tell me where you were."

"I was ----"

"I don't understand."

What I'm looking for is where Rip Torn said he was. I know it something similar to "I was trapped in the innercircle of thought" or "innersection of thought." But I'd like to know for sure.

Thanks in advance.

"Trapped in the inner circle of fault" according to someone on the "Funniest Part?" thread.
