hey..

I'd like to discuss about this movie.
I find it ultra scary, and very well done (uh, for a very low budget horror film I guess it's ok). Anyways, say anything about it.

I just watched this flick for the 2nd time last night, it was every bit as good as I remembered it. I think that first shot of the old woman (in present day) when she keeps her head down and dosn't say anything is really creepy, she actually reminds me a nightmare a had when I was about 6 or 7. I also really like the opening scene whith the woman and the girl and the body, it's just ultra weird and cool. Lots of teeny-bob gore/blood, and creepy zombie/ghosts. An all around winner in my opinion (with the exception of a used tired plot...but hey, that just dosn't bother most genre fans!).

I just came across this movie the other night in my movie collection and had never watched it until now. I find it to be a really interesting mix of some of the worst acting, dialogue, etc. and some of the creepiest gore, dialogue and suspense. It's hilarious because its so bad in some ways and yet it is generally scary as well. Some of the scenes are actually quite effective despite the bad acting. The set (old house) is really effective and even the minimal music is creepy. What a weird, scary, yet flawed movie. I'm glad I checked it out.

I have it on VHS somewhere but it's an awesome but very flawed movie.

It's one of the most effective low budget horror films I've ever seen. Chilling barely even touches the surface of describing how creepy it is!
