Can anyone get me a copy?

Hey I've been looking for this film since I was little. I just found out what it was about three months ago and now I hear it's out of print. I can't find it used anywhere so I was wondering if someone could get me a copy or something. It's not even available on the Troma website. If someone has it and can put it on kazaa that would be perfect. -el stevo

DEAD DUDES IN THE HOUSE was in plans to be released on DVD early this year (as one of TROMA's people replied in an e-mail).
Hopefully it will happen!! if not, let's hope that someone puts it on KazAA!
This movie is a gem.

It was easy enough for me to locate a VHS copy.
Just try either www.half.com or ebay.

Remember, try searching "House on Tombstone Hill" and not just "Dead Dudes in the House." I was able to find a great used copy for under $10.

This movie is definitely a gem and features the great stage actor, John Dayton Cerna. His performance in this film is excellent. This is much more than your average "horror" movie.

HI I have stumbled upon your postings through searching the name Mark Bladis, the producer of this film. He is infact my boyfriend's uncle and he has been trying to track down this movie for a long time. I would really appreciate it if you could keep in touch with me about where to find the movie or when it is supposed to be out on dvd.. And beleive me we are sooo happy to hear that you all really enjoy it. Thanks!!!!

It's not on DVD and probably will never be.
Check out TROMA's official website; the film is out of stocks. That's very sad as this is a hidden gem.
TROMA distributed the film in the early 90's.
I can say that this film has generated a small cult.
I'm sure it's available (used) on EBAY or AMAZON.

Troma DVD has been releasing buttloads of their smaller titles in 2 & 3 DVD sets. Like their Triple Header. I'm not sure that one worked when they tried it, 3 movies on 1 disc. Now, their putting out cheap sets to get once unavailable movies in 2 & 3 movie sets. On DVD. Like both Evil Clutch and Stuff Stephanie in the Incinerator are coming out soon! I feel like DDitH isn't far off that schedule.

The easiest way to get a copy of most movies like this is to join newsgroups and get a program called grabit. Once you subscribe (free) to newsgroups and i found the movie under the group alt. binaries mn m (alt binaries monster movies) they will come as rar and par files so you'll also want to have winrar. Sounds hard but actually it is the easiest and fastest way to get most old and new movies or about any app. you want as well.

this movie is released (not great quality) on DVD on the Toxie's Triple terror series (I think it's volume 6). I got my copy at Best Buy, but it's also available on amazon.

reply

YOu can also get it in that new kick ass Toxie's Top Ten box set. Comes with 10 films and Dead Dudes In The House is one of them. All are on DVD.

Visit www.horrorinf3ction.proboards45.com to talk about horror films!

reply

Definitly worth buying. I just got the Toxie's Top Ten and I'm in love. I'd reccomend if you're looking for Dead Dudes on dvd to get this set, you get that plus much more and its for a good price.

I have this little gem on vhs (original copy).

My friend skipped school one day and brought a load of videos around to my house in his school bag. To cut a long(and pointless)story short, his mom found out he’d wagged it, came around to mine and boxed the little scally’s ears. The plus side is: in the confusion of the parental beating he was receiving he forgot to take his little bag of crap cinema with him. Thus, this is how I came to be the proud owner of the on and only, dead dudes in the house. If you lived close I’d sell it to you for a tenna.

You can get a copy of the VHS from Amazon.com (apparently it's readily available, and ships in 24 hours - which is a good sign, because a lot of products that are about to go out of print are not this available). It's almost $17, but it's worth every last penny!

That's in case you're desperate... Thankfully it seems to still be in stock and Amazon says if you order their "last in stock," another one will come to their warehouse. You can also get it from Caiman.com for under $12, and Caiman is an excellent seller!
