Why has this film been buried?

I get a ton of movie channels with my cable and haven't seen this movie in years. This isn't the only one either. Local Hero comes to mind too. Apparently if no body gets beaten up or smacked around, it's not a movie anyone wants to see.

I KNOW! Isn't it sad?! I wante to rewatch it a month or two ago and had to phone several video stores to find one that still carried it... stupid Roger's only carries DVD's now, and Dead Again is hard to find. Blahh... You can buy the DVD of it on eBay without too much trouble, though.

I remember seeing this film in the theatre in 1991, and I enjoyed it very much. Through the years, I've revisited it with family and friends to see if they would enjoy it. I think this is a 10-out-of-10 film. You're right, this film is not played on television at all, and I wonder why. When a person is "Blade: Trinity"-ied to death, one does want variety. Dead Again is a great film that does deserve to be played now and again like any other movie.

Now that I think about it, why is "Dances With Wolves", another 10 star movie for me, being SOOOOOO ABUSED by TNT television?

IF you're in Canada the Scream netowrk usually shows it once every few months.

Are you saying this is better than Jaws 4? ;) I've seen that played on AMC. If that's an American Movie "Classic" the bar is pretty damn low.
