Mike Church's Car
Does anyone have any idea what Mikes car is in the film. I thought maybe it was Kenneth's "red convertable ford mustang" that he talks about a lot but I didn't recgnise it.

shareIt's a Corvette, 1964 or 1965
shareIt's a Corvette alright, but it is a "C1" variation made between 1958 and 1962 since it had 4 non-retractable headlights. Since it also has 4 round taillights, it is a 1961-62 model. When Mike & "Grace" leave in the daylight scene following the dancing in the rain, it can be narrowed down to a 1962 model due to the simulated vent on the side cove panel behind the front wheel. 1961 models had 3 large "spears" on this panel, while 1962 models had many smaller pieces. You can see the top of the vent in this scene.
The "C2" models (1963-67) had retractable headlights.
And that, Lauren, is how taxes work.
- Ron Swanson
It is a 1962, I am sure because I own a black 1962, I also own a 1996 and a 2014 Stingray

C2's were also known as midyears, 1962 was the year they switched from a 283 to a 327, it was also the last year they had a solid read axel, The C1s were the last Vette that offered a power top as an option, they did not offer another power top till the C6. It was the last year with a trunk, they did not maje another convertible with a trunk till 1998.. 1962 was the only C1 that did not offer a cove with a contrasting color.
