Sinister fun

This feels a bit drawn-out and soap operatic at times, but the creepy feel and excellent cast make this a worthwhile gothic thriller. Peter O'Toole and Barbara Shelley are deliciously sinister, and Maud Ruthlyn is the portrait of innocence as Maud. 7/10 stars.
