Easily, the worst movie I have ever seen. I'm not even exaggerating. Pretty sad considering it has a great cast of actors.
shareI love this movie too, I can't believe how unpopular it seems to be. But that again it also seems to have a bit of a cult following, which is nice.
sharei just finished watching it and i also don't care what others say i liked it!!
shareI Like it Too! :)
I thought it was OK, not outstanding. I found it amusing in places, which is all due to the talent of the actors, I thought the script and plot were just too ridiculous. I still don't know why John candy's character started lying, he already had a watertight alibi, and wasn't implicated.
My favourite part, as probably a lot of people, was the recurring joke with the policeman's lighter, made me laugh every time.
I'm perplexed as well. This movie was quite hilarious to me and I'm not one who gets amused easily by comedy films. A smile here or there maybe for mediocre comedies but this one actually made me yelp more than once.
I remember watching this years ago and ogling at Cybill Shepard. Hamilton, Candy and Belushi really rocked this film. I must say that I was even interested in the less-than-intriguing plot. Amazing how Eugene Levy manages to weave a whodunit with comedy elements.
Ignore Rotten Tomatoes or the low IMDb rating. This movie is totally funny!
"Protection from what? Zee Germans?"
- Snatch.
Love it too! "She was cold and without a hat!"
