So instead of going on to college and becoming a success in her own right, honor student Kathy Winslow should get with restless biker Johnny Van Owen (what a stupid white-bread name) and join him in the big city as his arm candy until he gets bored and moves on? Great!

Any guy who rolls into town and advises a girl to "drop that zero and get with the hero" is clearly a deluded, self-aggrandising d*ck. Who is he to tell her to dump her boyfriend? That's her own decision and if he had any respect for anyone but himself he wouldn't butt into her relationship.

You sound like a "nice guy", which isn't a good thing. It's a stupid movie *beep* movie dude and it isn't sexist.

My guess is that you once liked a girl, who obviously had zero interest in you, and she started dating some cool athlete and you got all butthurt and called him a sexist *beep* and complained that chicks never pay attention to the nice guys.

"Sexist" is a bit strong but the lead female character is bland, passive and lacking in any personality whatsoever. Although I guess a girl would have to be pretty stupid to be attracted to someone like Vanilla Ice in the first place, so it's fitting.

But no, not really a sexist movie. Just cheesy and dated, a relic of another time.
