What kind of a name is Rabbitte?

It sounds, well, made up. Is this really a name people have in Ireland? I never heard anyone called Rabbitte before I saw this movie. It seems like you would sure get your a$$ kicked every day at school with a name like that.

And no, Bugs Bunny doesn't count.

I asked the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

reply

Nah, I hear it's fairly common in Ireland, but being from New York and seeing the movie when I was 5, I thought it was a really funny joke. Apparently though, Rabbitte and its variants (Rabbitt, Rabbit, etc) are legitimate Irish surnames. :-)

.x. suck my kiss .x.

Rabbitte is a regular Irish surname.
One of our top polititions here, who retired recently is Pat Rabbitte, you should google him and see.

its not really common at all actually. there are people called Rabitte (eg Pat Rabitte) but i would not by any means call it a common name.

Why do you care? You have nothing better to do?

And you can't see the glaringly obvious?

So that amuses you?
Making fun of people's surnames?
Such a childish reaction and retort.
Oh, and my signature? It's a line from a movie. Too difficult to figure out?
