great film
I thought this was a great film. Clive Owens does an amazing job of falling for his sister. A beautiful treatment of a sensitive and emotionally charged subject matter.

shareI agree. I thought this was a really well-made film.
I gave it an 8 star ranking. The three leads were great. The script and direction were very engaging.
I admit I was also quite surprised and impressed by this gem. And all three were quite great!
I love Alan Rickman! His character was so energetic and insane and egotistical and so unlike any character I've known for Rickman (well, the bouncy energetic part anyway lol)
I also thought Clive Owen was amazing. I couldn't decide on Saskia, whether Natalie was sly, manipulative and depraved or Saskia's smirking face gave that impression but whatever the reason I thought it worked out well.
I agree. The performances are solid, and I liked how Poliakoff as the writer dealt with the subject clearly, sensitively and with a measured approach. In the wrong hands this could easily have been a mess - shrill and sensationalist. I also liked seeing London as it once was.
