I saw a movie like this but I could have sworn it was in the 80's. It was a British miniseries on a&e, but I thought the boy's name was "gor" and he went to see his ape mother at the end and she attacked him. Does anyone know if this is the same movie?
shareThe one you are refering is First Born (1988). It had a 3 episode run and it show was on BBC1 in the UK. The adolescent Gor was played by Jamie Foster.
shareI know this is an old posting but thank you. I was wondering the same thing. I saw what I now know to be "First Born" decades ago and had always thought it was called Chimera. Have wondered about this mini-series off and on for years.
