Original mini series

Same here, I saw it when it first aired on ITV, I was 12 and have no idea why my parents let me watch it but it screwed me up and I had nightmares about it.

I watch horrors now all the time and don't scare easily but this thing still hits a nerve lol

I remember this mini-series causing a big deal during its original 1991 broadcast. I can recall a Sunday tabloid printing a 2 page centre-spread about it before it had even finished its run showing Chad in various stages of age and height. I was only 11 during the first broadcast and it shít me right up. When ITV aired it for a second time around 1994 I noticed the majority of the gore had been removed. Not seen it since.
