Movie is good, but read the book its much better (SPOILERS!!)

SPOILERS BELOW!!!!

The movie has some good elements and some just okay moments. One of the best parts of the film is the ending when you see the "Child of Light" coming out of a building with her classmates.
You then see the "Child of Darkness" walking toward them and his eyes turn glowing red.
The nun that is leading the children walks out into traffic (presumably because the Child/Darkness made her) and is killed.

You see everyone's horrified faces. You then see the best part of the scene. The Child/Light begins to glow and counteract the evil, and brings the nun back to life. That scene is great!

But, the book is a little different. I think its much better.

The title of the book is "Virgin" , if anyone wants to find it.

Anyone read the book and seen the movie too also?

What are everyone's opinions?

James Patterson re-released the book and it's now called Cradle and All. I read it and I thought it was a good book. I totally didn't expect the ending but I thought it was fitting. I haven't seen this movie though but I want to!

At one time USA Network use to show it a lot in the 90's but since NBC has bought out the rights to USA Network it no longer shows movies like this at all or the old programming that I remember USA Network having.

well i love james patterson - he's my fave author ... i never read "virgin" though so i will have to check it out.. thanks for your info.

So only the evil nun and the priest died in the accident, not the child? Interesting movie even if it is only fantasy.
