What makes you wanna give $5 away so badly? This film will never be remade.

I don't really mind Megan, she actually seems alright and is pretty hot. Honestly though, she would be a bad comparisson to a young Connelly. Megan would seem like a dumb trashy slut in comparisson to the charming and thoughtful young Connelly. Connelly was also an incredibly full figured and gracefully beautiful young woman. Megan is almost anorexic, flat, and boring to look at in comparisson. She also would have the 'tries too hard' look, where as Connelly is so natural. Jennifer also has way too many curves for Megan to even nearly compete with in my view. Connelly was still incrediblely hot well into her 30's, and is still a pretty good looking woman today even after a couple of kids. I seriously doubt Megan will hold up like that either.

Most remakes are so unnecessary, I agree. However there has been the odd exception. Very odd. The 1980's version of 'Of Mice And Men', and Scorsese's reversion of 'Cape Fear' are a couple that come to mind. Not that Scorsese's was better, but it was still a worthy version in my view.

Would totally happen but I doubt it would do any worse theater wise as the original...and the concept is so random....even though it's a great movie.

is that maybe if that happens, a blu ray version of this movie would come out.I would even go see it just to make the chances higher.It be cool if they had both versions at theater like I saw happen to another movie, I bet this version would have way more ticket sales than the new one. ___
