Just wanted to recommend Salvador Carrasco's powerful film about the Spanish conquest of the Aztecs, "The Other Conquest," which will be released in select cities on May 4. If you liked this movie you'll love "The Other Conquest." For more info go to www.theotherconquest.com

Yeah, If you liked 'Cabeza de Vaca' you should watch 'La otra conquista' (The Other Conquest) plus 'Retorno a Aztlán' (Return to Aztlan), 'Ulama' or 'Eréndira Ikikunari' aka 'Eréndira la indomable'. Even the animated movie 'Nikté', would be a good if lighter choice.
