Questions

After seeing the movie again after so many years, there were a lot of things I was wondering about. One is, did Ben Siegel really beat Joe Adonis nearly to death? I looked up Joe Adonis and I couldn't find anything about that. He did go with Virginia Hill before Siegel whisked her away, but that's all I've been able to find. If it never happened then it shouldn't have been in the movie and it should go down as a goof.
