GREAT PRISON MOVIE,DON 'THE DRAGON'WILSON'S BEST FILM!!

THIS IS A GREAT B-FILM TO WATCH,ESPECIALLY IF YOU LIKE A GOOD PRISON FILM,WITH A DECENT STORY.YES,YOU GET DON USING MARTIAL ARTS IN THIS FILM,BUT IT'S ACTUALLY A MARTIAL ARTS PICTURE THAT'S ABOUT SOMETHING MORE THAN JUST KICKING INMATES,IT ACTUALLY HAS A GOOD STORY.I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY STUCK BLOODFIST III ON TOP OF THE ORIGINAL TITLE,BECAUSE THIS FILM IS ACTUALLY CALLED FORCED TO FIGHT,AS IT SAYS AT THE END OF THE CLOSING CREDITS.IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BLOODFIST 1 OR 2,IT'S A TOTALLY DIFFERENT CHARACTER.I NOTICED THEY DID THIS WITH THE REST OF THE SEQUELS.IT WAS PROBABLY A THING THEY DID TO GET PEOPLE TO BUY OR RENT THEM,BEING THE SERIES WAS PRETTY POPULAR FOR B-FILMS.ONE OF THE BEST INGREDIENTS IN THIS FILM,IS A GREAT PERFORMANCE FROM RICHARD ROUNTREE.THIS IS THE BEST THING HE HAS DONE SINCE THE ORIGINAL SHAFT.SO IF YOU LOOK AT THIS WITH THE THOUGHT IT REMINDS YOU MAYBE OF A RIP OFF OF DEATH WARRANT,THINK AGAIN,BECAUSE IT'S WAY BETTER.I ALSO STILL THINK DON WILSON COULD HAVE BEEN A BIGGER STAR,IF HE WAS GIVEN A CHANCE TO HAVE A BIG FILM TO BE IN,WITHOUT IT JUST BEING A SMALL CAMEO,LIKE HE HAD IN BATMAN FOREVER,OR SAY ANYTHING,ETC..I MEAN IT TOOK JACKIE CHAN A LONG TIME,SO MAYBE HIS DAY WILL STILL COME.ALSO DIE TRYING,A.K.A. BLOODFIST 4,AND WHATEVER IT TAKES,WHICH CO-STARRED ANDREW"DICE"CLAY,WERE PRETTY GOOD DON WILSON FLICKS AS WELL.CHECK THIS FILM OUT IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET,IT'S DON'S MOST POPULAR FLICK,I KNOW YOU'LL LIKE IT!!

I have the whole bloodfist series.1-8.This one was pretty good.I'd give it a 6/10.One scene i always found rather perplexing though. Why'd they need to stab diddler 10x?Did he have bullet proof skin or something?I'd have thought they'd only need to hit him one good punch if they needed to eliminate him from the flick.I thought that scene was kinda ridiculous and unneccessary.
Still though.A pretty darn good c grade flick.Too bad Don "the Dragon" Wilson never made it further than the low grade b level circuit with movies.
Definately one of the all time great kickboxers though!

Actually, the movie was titled Forced to Fight when it was in theaters. When it was released on video, they added the "Bloodfist III" to the title.

I noticed they did that with all the sequels starting with 3.This was still a great film.Richard Roundtree gave one of the best acting perfomances of his career in this as well.

I just got done watching this after a long time. I'm used to watching martial arts movies with different actors. If it's late great Bruce Lee, Van Damme, the hard to find Cynthia Rothrock/Loren Avedon movies.

It's interesting to know this movie was released in 1992. Deep good movie and no, this is not supposed to be Death Warrant. That movie was very good, if you know what's actually going on.

I'm glad I wasn't the only 1 to enjoy this movie. Lots of people on IMDB blogs thought, there was severe need to call this movie a "comedy", only goofy F ups would say this.

Don The Dragon, well I never met him but my sensei did. Told me, Don was 1 cool guy. I've seen some of his movies but couldn't get over somethings. 1 of his eyes I don't know is naturally lazy eye or is it messed up due to combat, just like Bill Golberg's eye is. 2nd thing I noticed is, unfortunately Don is and was an athlete martial artist. I believe which is how I feel, he should've been more of a train or helped stuntmen. Him being a leading man in movies, him having the looks and persona of a Van Damme, Stallone or The Rock....no can't say he had it like they do. Women knew these stars, big blockbuster movie companies did and they'll remain household names.

Sorry for babbling, I couldn't help look at this thread and some of what was being shared and I had to add on.

I prefer Bloodfist II personally, but this was still pretty good.
