Is this the ACTUAL sequel to Demons 1 & 2 (which are minted!) or is this just another random movie with a sequel name thrown in like The Church (demons 3) or Demons 3: The Ogre? There seems to be about 10 films all claiming to be demons 3 n I'd like 2 know which 1 is legit!

I'm actually watching that trilogy right now (Black Demons/Ogre/The Church boxset). I think I read somewhere that The Ogre only had "demons 3" attached to it's title to increase it's publicity. It was never intended to be an actual sequel to the previous Demons movies. I watched The Ogre tonight and I noticed that "Demons 3" isn't even added on to the title during the opening credits. Overall, The Ogre confused me if anything. I had a hard time figuring out what happened at the end. Though I liked it vastly more than I did...
Black Demons...I was hoping this would pick up where the first 2 left off...and was greatly disappointed. This must be one of the most straight-forward titles in horror movie history. For those who haven't seen this, it's literally about 6 black slaves who get resurrected by black magic. There is one fantastically bad death scene in here though, I had alot of laughs.
The Church...I haven't watched yet. Though I'm already banking on this one to be the best of the trilogy. It can't possibly be as bad as the other two.

I thought this flick was an enjoyably schlocky piece of low-grade Italian horror splatter junk. I gave it an 8 out of 10.

I didn't like it all that much! I'm a HUGE fan of 70s/early 80s italian schlock, but there was NO excuse for this movie to be as terrible as it was in the friggin' NINETIES!

Gave it a 5/10. This movie is nothing special, but what saves it from being called utterly bad are some lines that are unintentionally funny...and so is that Brazilian kid's acting.
