Is this the actual sequel to Demons 1 & 2??? I love the 1st 2 films and I've seem demons 3 the ogre which I thought was ok, but I've now realised there's demons 3 the church and demons 3 or demoni 3!!! Which of these movies is the ACTUAL sequel and not just a claim to fame?? Please sum1 clarify cause I'm confuzzled!!

None are sequels.
The only sequel to Demons is Demons 2.
It's very common for movies from Italy to be marketed as a sequel when in fact it's not.
Look at the Zombi series. Dawn of the Dead was titled Zombi in Italy, than came Lucio Fulci's Zombi Flesh Eaters, which went under the name Zombi 2 to make it look like a sequel.
Zombi 2 is the first part and Zombi 3 is the official sequel.
As I stated a lot of Italian flicks go under different titles to make them appear as sequels.
It's all for the marketing. Most of these movies are stand-alone, but go under an alternate title to appear as a sequel.

What the other guy said, there are no ACTUAL sequels to it. THE CHURCH/La Chiesa began life as a legitimate sequel to DEMONS, but Lamberto bowed out and Michele Soavi, another Argento protege, stepped in. He kept the same basic premise of people under supernatural attack in an enclosed space, but the humour, the rock music and everything else is changed. It's much more serious, slow paced and surreal. It's a good film though, I really like it. Asia Argento is in it too, so there is a kind of continuity with Demons 2. A kind of thematic sequel to THE CHURCH is THE SECT/La Setta, also by Soavi, a couple of years later. That is also excellent, but deals with a kind of Rosemary's Baby/demon pregnancy scenario. This film was also pre-sold as and, in Japan's case, released as Demons 4 just as The Church was Demons 3 in the same fashion. They are as close to sequels as you will get :)
