Chomina's Death - Virgin Mary

I've been in the middle of an argument. A 'She-Manitou' comes at the moment of death according to Chomina in the movie. But she looks totally like an apparition of the Virgin Mary - then up close she is clearly a regal and compassionate looking Indian woman. Since the Virgin of Guadeloupe appeared as an Aztec looking woman, for a Catholic this means that close up even though she is an Indian woman, she can still be Mary bringing old Chomina peace. This puts a whole more compassionate spin on the movie. Please no comments from Catholic haters.

Yeah, I suppose the converse could apply as well. In other words the traditional Virgin Mary we all know and love, may , in reality, be a 'She-Manitou'.🐭
