Looking for english subtitles: Director's Cut @ 3CD

You're speaking of the first 15 minutes that's in French on Disk one?

That's the version that's rumoured never to be released because of legal troubles with Warner Brothers. So many threads on this movie spend a lot of time talking about this.

Having to navigate through the German DVD menu's you come to see that there's only an English language track but no English subtitles. It's just one of those things that you just have to be a participant in even though you're on the outside of it. The dialouge between Chico & Claire is just an instance of that.

I believe you're talking about a download. I've got the subs as three SRT files, so message me if you still need them. They're pretty good from a quick glance, but I haven't watched the movie yet. Hard to fit in a film that's nearly five hours. I spent the whole day watching SATANTANGO, 7+ hours of black and white Hungarian pathos.

(I know pirating is bad, but how else are we supposed to see this movie?)
