God Gave Rock and Roll to You

So this week on my podcast my wife and I got into a bit of a debate over whether God Gave Rock and Roll to You is the song Bill and Ted play, or if the Steve Vai intro was their song.

We didn't really settle it on the show, so I tweeted Alex Winter to get his opinion on the subject. Apparently, he agrees with me that the Steve Vai number is Bill and Ted's first song:

I'll consider that a definitive answer(mostly because he agrees with me). So there we have it. Debate settled.
