Much darker than the first one..

Saw this when I was younger and just rewatched it and realize how much darker it is than the first one...

1.Bill's ex step mum divorcing his dad and marrying Ted's dad. Infidelity and betrayal.

2. Cyborgs showing their skulls by ripping through the mouth of the skin...

3. The ouija board summoning spirits.

4. Death personified

5. Spitting on dead bodies

6. Spirits possessing humans

7. The hell scenes showing their child hood nightmares

It's like the producers or writers were going through tought times when they came up with the idea lol.

It was much darker and adult. But for whatever reason, it still worked for me. It shouldn't have, considering how different the tone of the first one is, but it really wasn't a huge downgrade from the first - unlike most sequels.

And don't forget Granny S Preston Esquire, always freaked me out as a kid.
