Why has this never been reshown?

I've just re-watched it.. I think i may know why. In alot of scenes seem to have some dodgey product placements in lol here are a few off the top of my head. KFC, Walls ice cream, two/three adverts for Mcdonalds, burger king, a HUGE advert for Sanyo, UA cinema?, Terminator 2, Thelma and Louise, H, Samuals, a large green logo (im sure it meant something at the time), Plaza, Teenage Mutant ninja Turtles,and i seem to remember the Genies clothes having large branding on..and the worst, Lenny henry drinking coca-Cola infront of a HUGE Coca Cola sign.. Lol So im guessing that may have something to do with it?

I had it recorded off the telly so watched it loads of times as a kid. Has it only been on telly the once then? Its on youtube if you wanted to look it up

Only saw it on TV once on A&E while I was channel surfing. Years later as a married man with children I bought the DVD and it's traditional viewing in our house every Christmas.
