Liked it but felt Uneasy

This was one of those films that showed non-sexual nudity rather nicely, but at the same time the discomfort of Marianne was so clear during the first half that I found it hard to watch and enjoy. I wonder if anyone else had this reaction.

If you felt that way, I think it means Rivette did a good job. Did you feel more comfortable later in the movie? If so, you shared the experience of Marianne.

Strange but the discomfort of Marianne was something I found most riveting and exciting. It was a highlight.
