I liken it to a nightmare
I say that because while there is continuity throughout the film, I found myself wondering, "what's the point of this; what's the point of that?" The imagery was what I liked the most. The quivering man-child was disturbing. The washed out frames, the waves crashing that looked like quick sand. All of it. I've had dreams that look like that. I only wish it were shorter. Limit it to 20 minutes and it would've been perfect.
